Van Salesman – Poultry Route Sales

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Van Salesman to promote and deliver poultry products across an assigned territory. The role combines direct sales, customer relationship management, and hands‑on product delivery, ensuring customers receive high‑quality goods on time.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and promote poultry products to existing and potential customers.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Accurately deliver orders, handling loading and unloading of products.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and generate new sales opportunities.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and food‑safety compliance during transport.
• Prepare and submit daily sales, collection, inventory, and route reports.
• Collect customer payments according to company policies.
• Monitor inventory, reconcile stocks before and after each delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the delivery vehicle.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for timely loading and dispatch.

Required profile

• Graduate of any Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in van selling, route selling, or FMCG sales preferred.
• Experience in poultry, meat, or food distribution is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer‑service skills.
• Honest, trustworthy, hardworking, and goal‑oriented.
• Physically fit and willing to handle loading and unloading of products.
• Familiarity with the assigned sales territory and routes.
• Valid professional driver’s license with the appropriate restriction/code.
• Willingness to work on field assignments and travel within the designated territory.
