Valuations Manager to Director – Lead Complex Valuation Engagements

About the role

We are seeking a Valuations Manager to Director to lead and oversee complex valuation engagements across businesses, intangible assets and financial instruments. The role involves technical leadership, client advisory and team development within a professional services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage valuation projects for mergers & acquisitions, litigation, financial reporting, restructuring, tax and advisory purposes.
• Develop, review and validate advanced financial and valuation models, ensuring key assumptions are robust.
• Ensure compliance with valuation standards, regulatory requirements and internal quality controls.
• Drive business development through client pitches, proposal preparation and sector‑specific strategies.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships, acting as a strategic advisor.
• Supervise, coach and mentor team members to foster technical excellence.
• Collaborate with on‑shore teams to integrate efforts and achieve business outcomes.
• Represent the firm in industry forums and contribute to thought‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification (CFA, FRM, CPA) or progress toward certification preferred.
• More than 5 years of valuation experience in an accounting or professional services firm.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects and deliver under pressure.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and presentation skills.
• High proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
