Utilities Operator

About the role
We are looking for a Utilities Operator to ensure the smooth, efficient and safe operation of plant utility equipment. The role involves overseeing the performance, maintenance and repair of all utility systems that keep the facility running.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plant utility equipment, including power, water, steam and compressed air systems.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and execute repairs and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment performance, maintenance activities and safety checks.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company safety protocols.
Required profile
- Certified Plant Mechanic or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience working with industrial utility systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety procedures.
