Transport Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Transport Coordinator to join Aboitiz Foods in Bamban, Philippines. The role will oversee the end‑to‑end transportation and logistics operations, ensuring that goods are delivered on time, safely and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily delivery plans, coordinating with truckers and logistics providers.
• Prepare accurate waybills and required documentation for each trip.
• Monitor dispatched deliveries from gate‑out to final destination and update status in SAP.
• Report daily delivery plan status and escalate issues to team leaders.
• Manage relationships with third‑party truckers, validate billing statements and ensure compliance with food‑safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO, ISMS).
• Coordinate with the Loading Group on loading priorities and dispatch schedules.
• Track performance of delivery trucks, generate regular reports and maintain monitoring dashboards (bulk delivery, POD, sales).
• Participate actively in company programs and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in transportation coordination or logistics management.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
