Training and Development Officer

About the role

The Training and Development Officer will be based on‑site in Angeles and will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of learning programmes that support operational excellence in production, quality and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analyses across all departments.
• Develop learning plans and design effective training programmes.
• Coordinate training schedules and manage training records and evaluations.
• Collaborate with department heads to align content with business goals and compliance requirements.
• Provide coaching and support to enhance employee skills and performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of learning processes.
• Support onboarding and ongoing development initiatives for new and existing staff.

Required profile

• Experience in Training Needs Analysis and Training & Development.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate outcomes, performance data and competency gaps.
• Excellent communication skills for facilitating sessions and preparing clear materials.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing, food production, hospitality or a similar operational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business or a related field (preferred).
• Organizational attention to detail and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Knowledge of adult‑learning principles, coaching techniques and basic productivity tools.

Required skills

• Learning Management System (LMS) usage.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
