Training and Development Officer

About the role
The Abba Initiative (TAI) is seeking a proactive Training and Development Officer to own the end‑to‑end training function. You will design, deliver, and continuously improve learning programs that address both technical and soft‑skill needs across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps.
- Design curricula and learning materials for technical and soft‑skill topics.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops.
- Measure training effectiveness and impact.
- Maintain and manage an annual training calendar.
- Report training outcomes and insights to senior leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (Education or Psychology preferred).
- 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in training facilitation and program design.
- Proven ability to conduct TNA, develop learning assets, and evaluate results.
- Strong communication and facilitation capabilities.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently.
- HR experience is a plus but not mandatory.
