Traffic Planner – Traffic Management Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Traffic Planner (Traffic Management Designer) to create and manage traffic control plans that comply with local legislation and meet client requirements. The role is based in our Taguig office and involves direct interaction with customers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with customers to develop work‑area traffic control plans, determining permit needs for long‑term or short‑term projects.
• Prepare and submit quotations for traffic plans.
• Design temporary traffic control plans using AutoCAD or Rapid Plan, adhering to MUTCD/WATCH standards.
• Submit plans to city or controlling agencies for review and approval.
• Coordinate with the Branch Manager for permit services and attend agency meetings.
• Revise plans based on agency feedback and facilitate communication between dispatch and contractors.
• Submit billing for completed plans and manage multiple projects to meet contractor schedules.
• Supervise draftsmen, delegate tasks, and review traffic plan drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning or a related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in traffic planning, traffic management, or traffic control design.
• Experience creating Temporary Traffic Control Plans for construction, utility, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of MUTCD standards and traffic control regulations.
• Familiarity with permit application processes and agency submission procedures.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
