Test Technician (RPE) – Cebu, Philippines

About the role

Teradyne is looking for a Test Technician (RPE) to join its manufacturing team in Cebu. You will support centralized preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of key rework equipment, ensuring smooth production flow and high quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on PCR equipment such as mini‑wave, BGA machine, incline cleaner, and ovens.
• Identify and qualify replacement parts for obsolete components, including refurbishing and software validation.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on experiments and process improvements.
• Document repair assessments and maintain equipment logs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).
• Local candidate residing in the Philippines; no relocation or visa sponsorship provided.
• Goal‑oriented, analytical, and able to work independently.
• Computer literate.

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of mini‑wave equipment.
• Experience with BGA rework machines.
• Use of incline cleaners and reflow ovens.
• Software validation for equipment control.
