Test Manufacturing Technician

About the role

The Test Manufacturing Technician works hands‑on with semiconductor test equipment to ensure high uptime, yield and output. The role collaborates closely with Test Engineering and Production teams to meet daily dispatch targets, reliability metrics and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze root causes of equipment and hardware failures and implement preventive measures.
• Perform in‑depth repair, troubleshooting and calibration of test hardware such as loadboards, probecards and contactors.
• Execute preventive maintenance (PM) programs and maintain calibration accuracy.
• Lead projects to improve cycle time, equipment availability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Develop automations, programs and scripts to enhance quality, uptime and reduce mean time to repair (MTTR).
• Qualify, release, install and de‑install new test equipment and hardware.

Required profile

• Completed a 3‑year Electronics or Technology course, preferably Mechatronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience with semiconductor test platforms (e.g., Teradyne M/IFLEX, Advantest T2000, ETS 800/364).
• Strong knowledge of electronics circuit analysis and ability to read schematic diagrams.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Team player with good communication skills and ability to work independently.
