Territory Sales Executive

About the role

The Territory Sales Executive (TSE) will drive sales and relationship management across a defined territory, covering both B2B (distributors and retailers) and B2C (farmers) channels. The role focuses on Product‑on‑Ground (POG) selling, building direct farmer relationships, and collaborating with Trade Activation Promoters to maximise market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve territory sales targets across distribution, retail, and POG channels.
• Identify, engage, convert, and retain farmer customers through direct sales activities.
• Manage day‑to‑day relationships with distributors and retailers, ensuring product availability and execution of commercial terms.
• Coordinate with Trade Activation Promoters to implement channel activation and demand‑creation programs.
• Monitor program performance, provide timely reporting, and escalate issues as needed.
• Support sell‑in and sell‑out initiatives aligned with zone priorities and supply availability.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in the agriculture or seed industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage both B2B and B2C relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer‑service skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and capable of working independently in the field.
• Ability to collaborate with third‑party service providers and internal teams.
