About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Technician specialized in railway wagons to join our team in Zaragoza. You will work within GMF Railway Maintenance Services, a subsidiary of COMSA, providing maintenance, repair and component manufacturing for rolling stock.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical and electronic maintenance and repairs on railway material according to client plans.
• Optimize the use of tools, equipment and materials for each task.
• Estimate, select and manage spare parts needed for repairs or replacements.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety and railway regulations, using protective equipment and applying received training.
• Inspect, measure and record results to guarantee effective and high‑quality work.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to execute tasks correctly.

Required profile

• Medium‑level education in electromechanics or a related field.
• Ability to diagnose and solve faults independently.
• Familiarity with technical symbols and schematics.
• Driving licence is mandatory.
