Technician 1, Product Engineering (Manufacturing)

About the role

Analog Devices is hiring a Technician 1 for its Product Engineering (Manufacturing) team. The role covers the setup, conversion, calibration, repair, preventive and predictive maintenance of automated test handlers used in Final Test, Wafer Sort and Tape and Reel manufacturing, including their sub-assemblies and related parts. It is a graduate-level position.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain automated test handlers: setup, conversion, calibration, repair, and preventive and predictive maintenance, including sub-assemblies and parts.
• Verify yield and QA failures at first level, troubleshoot setups and perform basic tester debugging.
• Document findings through the MIPS process and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering.
• Submit performance reports and take part in efficiency and quality improvement programmes aligned with TQM Plus principles.

Required profile

• Graduate of Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related vocational course.
• Fresh graduate or at least 1 year of work experience in electronics or the semiconductor industry.
• Ability to explain major equipment subsystems and perform simple setups and conversions.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and ability to read schematic diagrams.
• Familiarity with test equipment setup and operation.
