Technician 1, Equipment Maintenance

About the role

Analog Devices is hiring a Technician 1 for equipment maintenance in its GTC facility. The role covers the setup, conversion, calibration, repair, preventive and predictive maintenance of automated test handlers used in Final Test, Wafer Sort and Tape and Reel manufacturing, including the handlers' sub-assemblies and related parts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform handler setup and kit conversion, including setting temperature, lead count and setup file per package, and installing the LN2 tank as required for each lot.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic handler jams and errors on at least two different equipment models.
• Inspect, clean and align contact and plunger assemblies as part of contact verification for low-yield setups.
• Search for missing units in the handler.
• Carry out mini-PM activities and calibration as required by TPM.
• Perform other related tasks assigned by superiors and follow the company's environmental, health and safety and quality policies.

Required profile

• Graduate of Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related vocational course.
• Fresh graduate, or at least 2 years of work experience in an electronics or semiconductor industry.
• Basic mechanical and electronics knowledge.
• Ability to explain major equipment subsystems and clear minor jams.
