Technical Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to provide end‑user desktop assistance and ensure smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. The role is based onsite at Iloilo Business Park and involves both routine support and occasional travel to trade shows.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, printer, and peripheral issues for desktops, laptops, and Mac devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, software applications, and network connections.
• Perform daily backup procedures and assist with data recovery.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors for problem resolution and rollout of new software or hardware.
• Provide technical setup and support for trade‑show events, including limited travel.
• Monitor IT infrastructure using monitoring tools and address failures or performance degradations.
• Use ITSM/ticketing systems to log, track, and close incidents.
• Execute any additional duties assigned by the IT manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical support, service desk, or desktop support roles.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
• Average to above‑average English communication skills.

• Hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.

• Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Active Directory user and access management.
• ITSM/ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
• A+ Certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ITIL incident and service request processes.
