Team Lead, Global Fixed Assets

About the role

The Fixed Asset Team Lead will oversee daily operations of the global fixed assets function, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, and compliance with corporate and tax requirements. This leadership position requires strong supervisory skills, process improvement focus, and the ability to manage tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a high‑performing team, handling performance evaluations, talent development, succession planning, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure accurate fixed‑asset processing, including capitalization, disposals, transfers, period‑end closings, and FA‑to‑GL reconciliations.
• Identify and implement process improvements while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Monitor compliance with corporate guidelines and tax regulations for asset accounting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in a similar function.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical problem‑solving, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the capacity to interact at all organizational levels.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
