Tax Specialist/Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Specialist/Officer to ensure full compliance with tax laws and regulations while identifying opportunities to optimize our tax position. The role works closely with finance, accounting, legal, and external auditors to support the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate, income, sales, and property tax returns.
• Conduct regular tax audits, reviews, and liaise with tax authorities.
• Research and analyze tax legislation to uncover planning opportunities.
• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business goals.
• Analyze financial data for tax implications and potential savings.
• Utilize data‑analytics tools to monitor tax trends and risks.
• Provide tax support to finance, accounting, and legal departments.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and meet assigned targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of tax experience, preferably in technology or transportation.
• CPA or relevant tax certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
