Tax Specialist

About the role

PMI is transforming its business and looking for a Tax Specialist to ensure tax compliance and reporting obligations in the Philippines are met. You will work closely with internal teams and external advisors, supporting ad‑hoc projects and contributing to the company’s new commercial model.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and ensure timely, accurate filing and payment of all tax obligations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with relevant legislation and implement best‑in‑class tax processes for reporting, provision, transfer pricing, and both indirect and direct tax compliance.
• Provide tax advisory and training to internal teams to mitigate tax risk.
• Ensure proper system and master‑data set‑up for tax processes.
• Continuously streamline tax processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage relationships with internal functional teams, external consultants (KPMG, PwC, EY, contractors) and local tax authorities.

Required profile

• Graduate with a degree in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• At least 4 years of experience in tax compliance work.
• Transfer pricing background is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and knowledgeable in SAP.
