Tax Preparer (CPA) – Remote Full‑Time

About the role

M3 Philippines is looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join the team as a Tax Preparer. You will work remotely with the U.S. accounting team and a local tax manager, handling individual tax returns and financial statements during a high‑volume tax season.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable tax codes.
• Create, review, and analyze financial statements using QuickBooks.
• Maintain client bookkeeping records, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports.
• Utilize tax software such as Lacerte or QuickBooks Online to streamline tax preparation.
• Organize and present financial data using Excel and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Communicate via Outlook and MS Teams for scheduling, email correspondence, and task management.

Required profile

• CPA license in the Philippines.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, bookkeeping, or related accounting work.
• Stable internet connection (≥100 Mbps) and a laptop capable of running accounting software.
• Willingness to work up to 60 hours per week during the tax season (January–April) and to start immediately.
