Tax Manager / Supervisor

About the role

The Tax Manager / Supervisor will lead all tax-related activities for the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring full compliance with Philippine tax regulations. This senior‑level position provides strategic tax guidance to finance teams and senior management while managing audits and tax planning initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, file and pay all national and local tax returns on time, including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes and other statutory obligations.
• Maintain audit‑ready records and manage relationships with the BIR, SEC and LGUs.
• Review and calculate current and deferred tax provisions in line with PFRS and support tax disclosures in audited financial statements.
• Lead BIR and LGU tax audits, investigations and inquiries, coordinating documentation and external counsel as needed.
• Identify and implement legitimate tax‑saving opportunities, monitor legislative changes and advise on tax implications of new business initiatives.
• Develop and improve internal tax policies, procedures and controls, and mentor finance staff on compliance matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven experience in tax compliance, accounting and audit management within a fast‑paced commercial environment, preferably in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax law, BIR, SEC and LGU regulations.
