Tax Manager

About the role

The Tax Manager will lead Lavie Group’s taxation function, overseeing the preparation and filing of national and local tax returns, ensuring compliance, and providing advisory support to business units. This senior role requires strong knowledge of tax laws and the ability to manage complex tax assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate tax returns and ensure timely payments.
• Verify that local business and real‑property taxes are reasonable and comply with applicable laws.
• Maintain company compliance with all tax regulations and handle disputed or resolved tax assessments.
• Provide tax advisory services and support to various business units.
• Lead projects to simplify processes, reduce errors, and improve overall tax compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required; LLB/JD or lawyer qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of tax practice experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in a Big 4 firm or a reputable tax services firm is preferred.
• Strong understanding of relevant tax laws and regulations.
