Tax Consultant (Hybrid, Full‑time)

About the role

TOA Global is looking for a strategic, client‑facing Tax Consultant to support its Australian division from our Clark office. This hybrid, full‑time position blends deep knowledge of Australian tax law with proactive business advisory, allowing you to move beyond compliance and become a trusted advisor for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns, business plans, budget submissions and finance proposals for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead client engagements from initial meetings through ongoing relationship management, identifying new opportunities.
• Act as the primary liaison with government bodies such as the ATO, ASIC and OSR.
• Conduct detailed accounting, taxation and business advisory research to provide actionable advice.
• Coordinate firm‑wide workflow, including planning meetings, deadline setting, task delegation and progress monitoring.
• Promote a positive firm culture and mentor junior staff, providing feedback and career coaching.
• Contribute to special projects such as due‑diligence, advisory letters and staff training seminars.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in Australian tax consulting within a public practice or corporate environment.
• Proven ability to prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Strong client‑service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and willingness to mentor junior colleagues.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Australian tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience interfacing with regulatory authorities (ATO, ASIC, OSR).
• Research and analytical skills in accounting and taxation.
