Tax Compliance Officer

About the role

The Tax Compliance Officer will be based on‑site in Manila and will lead Super 8’s tax compliance activities across BIR, LGU and SEC requirements. The role ensures that all tax obligations are prepared, filed and paid accurately and on time, while keeping the company aligned with evolving tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review financial records and prepare corporate tax returns and supporting schedules.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile tax accounts and maintain organized regulatory records.
• Support internal and external audits related to tax matters.
• Identify tax risks, recommend process improvements and ensure compliance with all applicable tax statutes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Relevant experience in tax compliance or corporate taxation, preferably in retail or distribution.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and high ethical standards.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
