Systems Administrator II – Manufacturing Execution

About the role

The Systems Administrator II will manage the Integrated Manufacturing Execution Layer (IMEL) supporting manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance operations. You will work closely with business users, machine OEMs, and project managers to ensure seamless system integration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support IT Operations Systems within the IMEL scope (Manufacturing/Logistics/QA).
• Serve as the primary contact for users, handling issue resolution, requests, and system challenges.
• Gather and analyze incident data, determine root causes, and drive permanent solutions.
• Analyze business requirements, perform gap assessments, and implement effective solutions.
• Coordinate and execute system testing before production release.
• Develop training sessions and user manuals for new or enhanced IMEL functionalities.
• Continuously assess system states and recommend improvements.
• Map primary and secondary business processes to the IMEL system.
• Document User Requirement Specifications throughout project phases.
• Specify and validate system configurations, assist users, and collect User Acceptance Testing evidence.
• Collaborate with business users, machine OEMs, and project managers to meet project milestones.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience with MS SQL Server and related services (e.g., SSRS).
• Proficiency in T‑SQL and SQL query/programming.
• Understanding of Service Management Processes (ITIL) and IT Service Management.
• Experience with DELMIA Apriso.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and logistics business processes.
• Familiarity with report development (SSRS, Power BI), integration (SSIS), and IIoT concepts.
• Good Documentation Practices knowledge is a plus.
• Project management knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of client‑server and networking concepts with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; fluent in English.
• Positive, proactive attitude; ability to work independently and within a cross‑regional team.
• Willingness to participate in an on‑call support model.
