System Administrator (Server Infrastructure)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to manage and support our enterprise server infrastructure, including physical and virtual environments, storage, databases, and operating systems. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance of critical IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise server infrastructure across physical and virtual platforms.
• Manage Windows and/or Linux server operating systems.
• Maintain and monitor virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Support storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Install, configure, and maintain databases and server applications.
• Perform system patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, server, storage, and OS‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and IT best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business‑critical applications.
• Create and maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a System Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, Windows and/or Linux operating systems, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with enterprise‑scale storage platforms, database administration, and backup/disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and performance management tools.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Linux, Storage) are a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and ITIL‑based environments is advantageous.
