Support Engineer

About the role

As a Support Engineer you will act as the strategic right‑hand of the Engineering and Technical Services Department, integrating mechanical, electrical, I&C/DCS and reliability functions to support power generation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic “Systems Integrator” aligning cross‑functional engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, I&C/DCS, Reliability & Performance).
• Monitor, track and balance the department’s CAPEX and OPEX cash flows, meet utilization KPIs and enforce cost‑control measures.
• Identify and consolidate CAPEX projects, providing governance and preparation support for capital investments presented to the Investment and Projects Governance Committee.
• Lead comprehensive asset condition reviews and provide technical governance over maintenance strategy, outage scope and Lifecycle Management Plan revisions.
• Drive process optimisation by revising ETSV business processes and monitoring operational indicators to enable proactive decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field.
• At least 3 years of experience in cross‑functional support for engineering management, project management or departmental governance.
• Background in a power plant or heavy‑industrial environment with solid knowledge of power generation technology and engineering processes.
• Preferably a licensed engineer or equivalent technical certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Systems.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Systems.
• Strong knowledge of I&C/DCS Systems.
