Supply Planning & Trade Operations

About the role

The Supply Planning & Trade Operations role ensures efficient, cost‑effective supply plans that support sales forecasts and meet inventory targets. It also manages end‑to‑end import/export activities, customs compliance, and trade documentation to guarantee smooth cross‑border movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans for finished goods and collaterals aligned with demand forecasts, inventory targets and service level agreements.
• Coordinate all import and export activities, including customs documentation, commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin.
• Ensure compliance with customs laws, international trade requirements and HSE/Quality standards.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts and collaborate with warehouses and tolling plants.
• Drive supply‑related activities for New Product Introduction, working with stakeholders on package development and supply negotiations.
• Identify supply constraints, create mitigation plans for shortages or delays and optimise cost elements such as duties.
• Partner with Marketing to manage inventory buffers, slow‑moving or obsolete stock and develop move‑out plans for expiring products.
• Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, toll manufacturers and regulatory agencies to resolve trade issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply planning, production/material planning and inventory management within a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
• Experience in import/export operations, customs documentation, trade compliance or logistics coordination, preferably in agriculture, chemicals or FMCG.
• Familiarity with customs regulations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification, FTZ operations and international trade laws.
