Supervisor/a de PCI

About the role

EIA21 is looking for a Fire Protection Systems Supervisor (Supervisor/a de PCI) to lead the technical supervision of fire protection installations on a major 12‑month project. The role ensures that all active and passive fire safety systems meet strict operational and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and inspect installation, assembly and commissioning of fire protection systems, including extinguishers, sprinklers, pumps, detectors and alarms.
• Verify compliance with local and international fire protection codes such as RIPCI and NFPA.
• Lead and validate periodic functional testing to certify system activation in emergencies.
• Supervise subcontracted installation and maintenance contractors, ensuring schedule adherence and quality.
• Ensure workplace safety measures are followed and produce detailed technical inspection reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience supervising, inspecting or commissioning fire protection systems in industrial or complex building environments.
• Technical or engineering qualification (industrial, mechanical or related) or certified specialized training in fire protection systems.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection regulations (RIPCI, NFPA or equivalents).
• Excellent organizational skills, technical rigor, attention to detail and effective communication.
