Strategic Market Planner

About the role

McDonald’s Philippines is seeking a Strategic Market Planner to drive growth across the Visayas and Mindanao regions. You will use data‑driven insights to identify market opportunities, support site selection, and align regional plans with national business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze internal and external data to assess market potential of provinces.
• Segment provinces into mini‑markets and define growth strategies.
• Identify trade‑area gaps, recommend site selection, and manage pipeline development.
• Conduct post‑analysis to evaluate performance and refine strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with national expansion goals.

Required profile

• Fluent in Bisaya.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum one year of experience in business development, strategic planning, or market research (e.g., trade marketing, real estate planning, asset management, data & analytics).
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to perform extensive field work.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
