Steel Detailer

About the role

Grandspan Development Corporation is looking for a skilled Steel Detailer to join its engineering team in Binangonan Rizal. You will translate architectural and structural plans into precise shop drawings, supporting the fabrication and construction of steel structures.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce detailed steel fabrication drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Use CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of steel structures and components.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts, providing practical solutions to improve project efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation throughout the design process.
• Assist in the preparation of material lists, shop orders, and other project‑related documents.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry standards, building codes, and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Steel Detailer or in a similar role.
• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit; BOCAD experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of steel construction techniques, fabrication methods, and industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with local building codes and construction regulations.
• Degree in Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
