Staff Nurse – Occupational Health

About the role

The Staff Nurse will provide basic healthcare support to employees at the assigned site, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace. This role combines clinical care, occupational safety compliance, and health promotion activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first aid and medical attention for minor injuries or illnesses and monitor the condition of sick or injured employees.
• Maintain the cleanliness, readiness, and proper functioning of the on‑site clinic and medical equipment.
• Assist in implementing the company’s health and safety programs in line with DOLE OSH standards, participate in safety inspections, emergency drills, and toolbox meetings.
• Prepare and maintain accurate medical and incident records for DOLE reporting.
• Support wellness initiatives such as health talks, vaccinations, and medical check‑ups; educate employees on basic health practices and disease prevention.
• Maintain and update employee health records, manage clinic inventory, and assist with HR tasks like pre‑employment medical coordination and return‑to‑work evaluations.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Willingness to undergo the DOLE 8‑hour Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) training (company‑sponsored).
• Strong interest in workplace health, employee wellness, and occupational safety.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work onsite and participate in safety activities.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid is a plus.
