Spanish Speaking Production Support Specialist

About the role

OpenText is seeking a Spanish‑speaking Production Support Specialist to provide technical assistance in a live production environment. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve issues, ensure service continuity, and support the company’s information‑management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Spanish technical support by responding to cases within defined service‑level agreements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in Unix/Linux environments.
• Analyze problems, develop resolutions of limited scope, and handle file and transaction error reporting.
• Prioritize EDI‑critical document types and manage error notifications.
• Coordinate production map break/fix changes and communicate process issues to customers.
• Participate in shift rotations, on‑call duties, and work onsite on specified corporate days.

Required profile

• Fluent in Spanish.
• Minimum 2 years of technical support experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Flexibility to work onsite, on weekends, holidays and on‑call as needed.

Required skills

• Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of relational database architecture.
• Knowledge of communication protocols.
• Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts (preferred).
