Solutions Architect – Apple Pay & NFC Expertise

About the role

We are seeking a Solutions Architect with deep expertise in NFC and Apple Pay to design, deliver, and oversee secure, scalable enterprise payment solutions. The role will own end‑to‑end architecture for payment‑related capabilities and ensure alignment with business, security, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and define end‑to‑end solution architectures that meet business requirements, technical standards, and security policies.
• Lead or contribute to Apple Pay integration projects, including implementation, enhancement, and support of payment features.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable, maintainable technical designs and integration patterns.
• Create architecture diagrams, API specifications, and other solution documentation.
• Assess existing systems, recommend modernization strategies, and define integration approaches across APIs, databases, cloud services, and third‑party platforms.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, security, and infrastructure teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct architecture reviews, and guide development teams to ensure compliance with approved designs.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring solutions meet privacy, regulatory, and payment‑industry standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience delivering Apple Pay integrations or payment‑related projects.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, security, and compliance requirements for payment systems.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
