Software Engineer (Shopify)

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level Software Engineer specialized in Shopify to join our remote team at Clark Outsourcing. The role involves designing, coding, testing and maintaining Shopify‑based applications while collaborating with product, design and engineering colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications based on project requirements.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with Shopify platform development, including Liquid and Shopify APIs.
