Software Engineer – Securities Operations & Treasury

About the role

Avaloq is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Securities Operations & Treasury team. You will work on end‑to‑end Investment Transactions solutions, contributing to all software layers from client‑specific SaaS configurations to core banking modules.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and innovate modules across the full technology stack.
• Develop customizations for SaaS clients and the Avaloq Banking Standard.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert within the team, supporting business analysts and consultants.
• Collaborate with global colleagues to deliver high‑quality software using Kanban‑based agile processes.
• Engage directly with clients to understand requirements and ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong interest in banking and financial services.
• Excellent programming abilities and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication in English and a client‑focused mindset.
• Collaborative attitude with a structured approach to work.
• Motivation to learn across multiple software layers.
