Software Engineer - FinTech (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a leading global financial services company. In this fully remote position you will help design, build, and maintain core backend systems that process real‑time financial transactions for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services for financial transaction processing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate third‑party financial APIs and payment gateways.
• Implement robust security measures to ensure compliance with financial regulations and data‑privacy standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimise downtime and ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• Experience with financial transaction systems, payment processing, or related domains.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases for financial data storage.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerisation technologies.
• Understanding of security best practices and financial compliance requirements.
