Software Engineer – Azure Cloud & .NET Development

As a Software Engineer you will help shape the future of the business by building Azure‑first .NET applications and driving a collaborative DevOps culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain .NET 4.8+ and .NET Core applications hosted on Azure.
• Implement and optimise data pipelines, SQL Server databases, stored procedures and indexing strategies.
• Contribute to the squad’s DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing and performance monitoring.
• Work with serverless technologies such as Azure Functions, Service Bus and AKS to deliver scalable solutions.
• Collaborate across the stack to influence architecture and deliver industry‑leading innovations.

Required profile

• Strong experience with .NET 4.8 upwards and .NET Core.
• Proficiency in T‑SQL, Entity Framework, EF‑Core and Dapper.
• Solid knowledge of Razor, JavaScript and modern front‑end practices.
• Hands‑on experience building public‑cloud applications on Azure.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server modelling, stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Passion for DevOps, automated testing and secure architecture design.
• Bonus: experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex.
