Social Media & SEM Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media & SEM Specialist to support regulatory compliance while managing our corporate social channels and paid advertising campaigns. You will create engaging content, drive audience interaction, and ensure all activities align with RELX brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Threads.
• Create, curate and schedule copy, visuals and video that reflect the brand voice and campaign goals.
• Monitor audience interactions, respond to comments and foster community loyalty.
• Plan, build and optimise paid social campaigns, managing budgets, targeting, A/B testing and performance metrics.
• Track, analyse and report on KPIs including reach, engagement, clicks, conversions, ROI and ROAS.
• Collaborate with the digital team on SEM initiatives to drive web traffic.
• Work with designers and creators to produce high‑quality graphics, short videos, reels and carousels.
• Support social listening, competitive analysis and crisis management with PR, customer service and product teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on social media marketing experience, preferably with B2C or B2B brands.
• Proven success managing social accounts and paid campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO, SEM and content marketing integration.
