Social Media & Community Manager

About the role

We are a creative agency producing brand films and video content for clients. Our social presence needs to reflect the quality of our work, and we need a passionate individual to own and grow our online footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute content strategies across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and emerging platforms.
• Create posts, carousels, stories, reels, graphics and promotional assets.
• Research trends, industry news and content opportunities to keep the brand relevant.
• Engage with the community by responding to comments, DMs and mentions, and building relationships that boost visibility.
• Plan, schedule and publish content using a content calendar while monitoring platform algorithms.
• Edit short‑form video for Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, adding captions, motion graphics and music.
• Produce newsletters and email campaigns via Beehiiv, Mailchimp or similar tools.
• Manage YouTube channel: upload, optimize titles, descriptions, tags, create thumbnails and analyze performance.
• Design presentations, pitch decks and marketing assets using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Track analytics, prepare weekly/monthly reports and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Genuine enthusiasm for social media, brand storytelling and community building.
• Data‑driven mindset with a love for testing ideas and measuring results.
• Self‑starter who can work independently as an independent contractor.
• Comfortable working remotely full‑time (Monday‑Friday, PST hours).
