Site Supervisor (Yard & Infra) – Port

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead yard development and supporting infrastructure works at a major port project in Oman. The role involves full‑time on‑site presence, coordinating earthworks, utilities, and internal logistics while ensuring compliance with contract specifications and design documents.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all land‑based structures such as roads, trestles, pavements, and utilities in line with contract and technical specifications.
• Monitor quality of materials and workmanship, including concrete mixes, pavement layers, and compaction.
• Check lines, levels, and installations of piped and cable services and associated equipment.
• Attend contractor inspection requests and issue approvals or non‑compliance reports.
• Ensure defects are remedied during the liability period.
• Maintain on‑site presence full time and collaborate closely with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Registered civil engineer with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of cumulative civil engineering experience, including at least 6 years in yard and port infrastructure construction.
• Experience supervising at least two similar construction projects.
• Preferably two years of full‑time employment with a consulting firm.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
