Service Officer

About the role

The Service Officer supports the Service Manager in daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and delivering excellent customer service. This onsite position is based in Daet and focuses on vault, ATM, and tellering functions while driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with vault and ATM cash level monitoring, vault operations, and tellering activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with BSP/AMLA regulations, internal policies, and external regulatory rules.
• Execute service initiatives aimed at increasing deposits, fees, and cross‑selling of bank products.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, eliminating errors, lapses, or irregularities that could cause financial loss.
• Maintain high service standards through fast turnaround times and error‑free processing.
• Manage productivity and administrative tasks within established guidelines, budgets, and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to ensure proper training and performance.

Required profile

• At least a four‑year degree in business or a service‑industry‑related field.
• Extensive knowledge of bank policies and procedures for branch operations.
• Ability to stay focused, organized, and handle stressful situations while meeting deadlines.
• Sales or marketing experience in a banking environment is an advantage.
