Service Officer

About the role

The Service Officer supports the Service Manager in daily branch operations, ensuring smooth vault and ATM cash management, tellering functions, and compliance with all regulatory and internal policies. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while driving revenue through deposits, fees, and cross‑selling initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with vault/ATM cash level monitoring, vault operations, and tellering activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with BSP/AMLA regulations, bank policies, and internal procedures.
• Analyze service tasks to increase deposits, fees, and revenue from bank products, including cross‑selling referrals.
• Manage risk by identifying and eliminating errors, lapses, or irregularities that could cause reputational or financial loss.
• Maintain high service standards through fast turnaround, error‑free processing, and total client satisfaction.
• Oversee productivity and administrative matters within set guidelines, budgets, and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to ensure proper training and performance.

Required profile

• At least a four‑year degree in business or a service‑industry‑related field.
• Extensive knowledge of bank policies and procedures for branch operations.
• Ability to stay focused, organized, and handle stressful situations while meeting deadlines.
• Sales or marketing experience in a banking environment is an advantage.
