Service Officer (Bank Operations)

About the role

The Service Officer supports the Service Manager in ensuring smooth branch operations, compliance, and high‑quality customer service at our Laguna Technopark location. This role focuses on vault and ATM cash management, teller functions, and risk mitigation while driving revenue‑generating activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with vault/ATM cash level monitoring, vault operations, and teller activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with BSP/AMLA regulations, internal policies, and external regulatory rules.
• Execute service tasks aimed at increasing deposits, fees, and cross‑selling of bank products.
• Identify and eliminate errors, lapses, or irregularities to protect the bank’s reputation and financial assets.
• Maintain fast turnaround times, error‑free processing, and overall client satisfaction.
• Manage productivity and administrative matters within set guidelines, budgets, and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to meet performance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Service Management, or a related field (minimum 4‑year program).
• Strong knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and branch operations.
• Ability to stay focused, organized, and handle high‑stress situations.
• Motivated to meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
• Sales or marketing experience in a banking environment is an advantage.
