SEO Specialist – Remote (Day Shift)

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for an SEO Specialist to work remotely on a day‑shift schedule. You will drive organic visibility across traditional search engines, answer engines, and emerging generative AI platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute best‑in‑class SEO, AEO and GEO strategies.
• Conduct technical and entity audits covering crawlability, AI bot accessibility, schema markup, Core Web Vitals and cross‑platform consistency.
• Implement and validate structured data (Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQ, HowTo, Article, etc.).
• Perform AI visibility assessments on platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.
• Create AEO‑focused content briefs using snippet optimization and conversational query frameworks.
• Analyze data from GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs and AI visibility tools to monitor rankings and entity growth.
• Audit cross‑web entity consistency on Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Maps and Wikidata.
• Document audit findings, implementation progress and prioritized recommendations.
• Stay current with SEO, AEO and GEO algorithm updates and generative search trends.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably in a specialist or agency role.
• Strong understanding of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
• Proficiency with SEMrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Screaming Frog or Sitebulb.
• Practical experience implementing structured data and schema markup.
• Excellent analytical ability and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
