SEO Expert for Etsy Store

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Expert to boost the visibility and performance of our Etsy store. The successful candidate will combine deep knowledge of Etsy’s search algorithm with proven e‑commerce SEO techniques to drive organic traffic and increase sales.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research tailored to Etsy’s platform to uncover high‑performing, relevant terms.
• Optimize product titles, descriptions, tags, and categories for better search visibility and click‑through rates.
• Implement on‑page and off‑page SEO strategies that align with Etsy’s algorithm.
• Monitor and analyse SEO performance using analytics tools, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and manage a content strategy that enhances product discoverability and engagement.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes to Etsy’s search algorithm, SEO trends, and e‑commerce best practices.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure cohesive, appealing product listings.
• Provide regular performance reports and data‑driven recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SEO, preferably on e‑commerce platforms such as Etsy.
• Strong understanding of Etsy’s ranking factors and keyword optimisation strategies.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust tactics.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field is an advantage.
