Senior Team Lead, Procurement Accounting

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Team Lead for Procurement Accounting within its Global Services Finance team in Taguig, Philippines. The role oversees accounting operations for procurement processes, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely financial closing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the accounting and daily operations for procurement accounting, including prepayments, GRIR, and AP balance‑sheet accounts.
• Ensure timely period closing, compliance with SOX, internal audit standards, and global policies.
• Manage a team of B25 and below associates, providing performance management, development, and succession planning.
• Support auditors and legal authorities, maintain strong internal controls, and address compliance risks.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; CPA, CMA, MBA or similar certifications preferred.
• 6‑8 years of professional experience, including 2‑4 years in a supervisory role within a shared‑service or multinational environment.
• Willingness to work night shift (8 PM‑5 AM MNL) and a temporary hybrid setup (3 days on‑site).

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
