Senior Tax Consultant

About the role

Ubiquity is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to lead offshore accounting operations, including financial statement preparation, general ledger management, and tax compliance. You will work with a global team of engineers and business professionals, ensuring accurate reporting and robust internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and supporting work papers.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date general ledger, fixed‑asset, and subsidiary ledgers.
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor daily cash balances.
• Supervise accounts payable, ensuring timely posting and vendor payments.
• Audit and verify transactions, obtaining proper invoice approvals.
• Design and implement internal controls.
• Reconcile intercompany balances across parent and subsidiaries.
• Assist with treasury functions, annual audits, and corporate tax return preparation.
• Liaise with accounting departments of foreign subsidiaries and supervise junior staff.

Required profile

• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience; audit‑firm background is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work graveyard shifts.
