Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our boutique accounting practice in Myrtle Bank, Adelaide. The role offers flexible working arrangements, including the possibility of fully remote work for the right candidate, and focuses on delivering high‑quality tax and advisory services to small and medium businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare income tax returns and financial statements for trusts, companies, partnerships, sole traders and individuals.
• Complete GST reconciliations, workpapers and support basic tax planning matters.
• Ensure client work meets deadlines, technical standards and compliance requirements.
• Provide support to accounting supervisors and partners across client engagements.
• Maintain accurate client records and respond to client queries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and workflow management.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience preparing business tax returns for a variety of entity types.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with a client‑focused approach.
• Desire for a long‑term career in a relationship‑driven boutique accounting firm.
