Senior Supply Chain Specialist – Logistics

About the role

San Miguel Beer is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to lead logistics and supply‑chain planning across its international operations. The role combines technical expertise with strategic analysis to ensure material availability, optimize inventory, and drive cost‑effective logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis and optimisation of material supply, inventory movements and production planning across business units.
• Evaluate production schedules, stock movements, distribution needs and container‑return performance, recommending actions to improve reliability and service levels.
• Monitor commodity markets and material price trends, providing strategic input for procurement and budgeting.
• Analyse logistics KPIs, container returns, inventory utilisation and cost drivers, delivering recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop business analyses, performance dashboards and management reports to support decision‑making.
• Administer logistics contracts and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Provide functional guidance and technical support to logistics teams on policies, procedures and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in logistics or supply‑chain operations, including supervisory or department‑head responsibilities.
• Strong background in inventory management, materials and production planning, warehousing, transportation and procurement.
• Proven analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with supply‑chain planning, forecasting and inventory optimisation.
• Ability to perform logistics analytics and KPI reporting.
