Senior Project Associate (Response) – Roster

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is establishing a roster of Senior Project Associates to provide surge staffing for emergency and humanitarian response operations in the Philippines. Candidates will be called upon when emergencies arise, requiring rapid deployment and local availability.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Mission’s surge staffing needs during disasters, emergencies, and humanitarian operations.
• Contribute to project activities in Shelter, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Cash‑Based Interventions (CBI), Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Community Mobilization, and Information Management.
• Prepare and submit timely reports and documentation required for each assignment.
• Complete onboarding, contractual and administrative procedures promptly upon activation.
• Collaborate with IOM teams, partners and local authorities to ensure effective response delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in emergency or humanitarian response operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of at least one of the response sectors listed above.
• Ability to be locally available on short notice and to travel within the Philippines as required.
• Strong communication and coordination skills in a multicultural environment.
