Senior Offshore Tax Consultant – Accounting & Reporting

About the role

Ubiquity is seeking a Senior Offshore Tax Consultant to lead the preparation and reporting of financial statements, manage the general ledger, and oversee payroll and compliance functions. The role is part of a fast‑growing BPO environment, offering exposure to multinational accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, work papers and supporting schedules.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, including fixed assets.
• Reconcile bank accounts, monitor daily cash balances, and manage intercompany balances.
• Supervise accounts payable, ensuring timely posting of vendor invoices and payments.
• Audit and verify transactions, obtain proper approvals, and design internal controls.
• Assist with treasury functions, annual audit, and corporate tax return preparation.
• Liaise with accounting departments of foreign subsidiaries and supervise junior staff.

Required profile

• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience; audit firm experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work graveyard shift.
